VocaMe from Germany, is an ensemble made up of four renowned female vocalists from the field of early music, directed and accompanied by Michael Popp. The group comprises of: Sigrid Hausen mezzo-soprano, Sarah M. Newman -soprano, Petra Noskaiová - mezzo-soprano, and Gerlinde Sämann -soprano.
VocaMe will perform at this year's Evocations, our late night concert, noted for its sacred and reflective atmosphere. This Munich based ensemble accompanied by Michael Popp on period instruments, will feature music of the medieval composers Hildegard Von Bingen and Kassia. A rare opportunity to hear the music of these renowned composers performed by such a highly regarded group.
