Fermoy Men's Club Choir formed in 2024. The choir consists of retired men from the town of Fermoy on the river Blackwater. The choir enjoys singing a range of music from Irish folk songs to hits from the musicals. The choir has participated in concerts and fundraising events such as Carol's by Candlelight III concert in Ballyhooly and Fermoy Youth Centre. They also enjoy carol singing and performing at local events. In a short amount of time the choir has become one voice. Danielle Lyndon has been the conductor of The Fermoy Men's Club Choir since they formed. She is a graduate of Music and English at UCC. The choir's accompanist is Mark Lyndon, who is also of a Music graduate of UCC. The choir is very excited to be a part of the Cork Choral Festival this year and hopefully many more years to follow.
