RockavoX

RockavoX is an independent community rock choir based in the market town of Dereham in the heart of rural Norfolk, UK. Established in 2012 by our MD Tiggy, Vocal Tutor and Co-Owner of JDT Music Academy, RockavoX has become a popular choir locally, well-known for our unique mash-ups and performing regularly at public and private events across the county. The choir enjoy learning a varied repertoire, singing a wide range of contemporary songs that span a miriad of styles from the past 80 years or so, and cover styles including ballads, blues and rock to new age, brit pop and dubstep! Our entire repertoire is arranged by MD Tiggy, providing the group with a unique and unrivalled sound, and we learn everything by ear!

Community is at the heart of everything we do, and RockavoX has become a huge social support network for each of our members and their families- you are guaranteed to hear chatter, laughter and singing wherever we go! We have been lucky enough to tour London, Paris and New York, performing in prestigious venues including Cadogan Hall, BB Kings and beneath The Eiffel Tower, and we have helped to raise thousands of pounds for local charities. Most importantly, we just love to get together and share our love of music, have a giggle and enjoy each other’s company.
