River Rhythms is a Community Choir, based in Killeady. The Choir was originally set up in 2016. The Choir performs at the Cork Choral Festival in May annually, at local festivals and events and also takes part in charity fundraisers. It has raised funds for Jigsaw Youth Mental Health Services, Cork Adult Mental Health Services, Ballinhassig First Responders and the R.N.L.I. amongst others. The choir will be hosting a Summer Evening of song 10th May in Goggins Hill church Balliinhassig and will be raising funds for ARC House and have many more events planned for later in the year. We are a mixed choir singing contemporary songs. Our primary mission is to connect people through song and to bring communities together. The Choir seeks to foster an environment of social, enjoyable interaction amongst its members that supports the music’s aim and objective of the group.
