Wesley College Dublin has a rich heritage and love for music. There are many choirs and musical groups within the school as well as an Interschools Music Festival which the school runs each year.
Wesley College Girls Choir is made up of three parts: first and second soprano and alto. This gives the choir a beautiful, pure blend and allows the students to work out which voice part they are best suited to.
As well as having fun at their Thursday morning rehearsals, the choir recently performed in the school carol services and received third place, highly commended, in the SSA competition of the Interschools Music Festival last year.
For the past twoyears, Ms Anna Farrelly has conducted Girls Choir, and she has conducted the Wesley College Gospel Choir for the past three. Having the opportunity to conduct these choirs with such amazing students is a joy, and the choirs are very excited to be taking part in the Cork Choral Festival this year.
