Saturday 3rd May, Cork City Hall
Founded in 2015 at Bon Secours Hospital Cork, Bonne Chanson takes its name from the French language, honouring the Parisian roots of the Congregation of Bon Secours. Bonne Chanson has twice reached the final level of the Lyric FM Workplace Choir Competition and has participated in a variety of inter-choir social events. Last year, the choir had the honour of performing in Paris for the 200th anniversary of Bon Secours, with performances at the Irish Cultural Centre and other notable venues. As the Bon Secours Workplace Choir, Bonne Chanson plays an integral role in various liturgical and social events throughout the year, including: Staff Awards and Long Service Celebrations, Remembrance Masses, Carol Services, and at Winter Wonderland, a nationwide children’s Christmas event celebrated across all Bon Secours Hospitals. Their conductor, Dylan Tierney, is a recent graduate of the BMus in the MTU Cork School of Music.
