The Cork Headway Choir is a collective of clients and staff from the Cork branch of Headway Ireland. Headway is a service that provides rehabilitation to adults with an acquired brain injury. The Cork Headway choir has been running for the last few years and in that time, they have performed at the Joy in the Park festival, Christmas markets, Headway events, nursing homes and fundraisers in the local community. All generating positive awareness for Acquired Brain Injuries and Headway. The Cork Headway choir is a place that builds confidence and where friendships are formed. The group comes together weekly to sing, it is a place of support, they feel less lonely, and they help each other along. Singing together brings out the best in people and for some it has helped them get their voice back in a fun and stress-free way. They are honoured to sing and graciously accept your support.
