Gorey Choral group is a mixed choral group which has been singing together for over 40 years. Founded in 1977 by a group of friends who all shared a common love of performing and singing a varied genre of music, from sacred music, jazz, light popular music and anything else that has notes, rhythm or a melody. The choir now boasts 35 members who are privileged to sing under the direction of Eithne Corrigan who tirelessly and patiently gets the best out of the voices of each choir member. Under her direction the group has performed to packed houses for the annual Christmas Concert, given successful charity performances and is a regular contributor to Christmas Day Mass.
