This year, we are working with the conductor from our Thursday night Gala Concert Morten Vinther Sörensen from Syng Selected to bring you an engaging and interactive workshop that will captivate both students and spectators alike.
MORTEN VINTHER SÖRENSEN
Morten is a Danish singer, producer and composer with a master’s degree from The Royal Academy of Music in Aalborg. From 2010 to 2019, he toured globally with the Swedish vocal group The Real Group. Before that, he performed in various Danish choirs and ensembles, giving him a broad perspective on vocal music, both pedagogically and artistically. He integrates methods from The Real Group and Jim Daus Hjernøe’s “intelligent choir” approach
and has a strong focus on intention and connection in his work. Since 2020, Morten has been based in Germany, working with Syng Selected, Åkervinda, POSTYR, Latvian Voices, Bonner Jazzchor, Songs of The Moment, and The Real Group Academy.
