Lilly Ireland Choir

The Lilly Kinsale site choir were a seasonal pop-up choir for years before becoming a year-round work choir in 2018. The choir invites all interested employees to perform multipart harmony in a capella for various site events and charitable initiatives in the local area. During the 2020 pandemic, we recorded a Christmas album for employees. The choir participated in the 2021 CorkInternational Choral Festival in the IBEC Workplace Choir of the Year Competition. The choir has grown as a vital engagement and well-being activity for employees.
The Lilly GBS Choir was established in 2018 as a seasonal singing group. Over the years, interest in the choir has grown significantly. With the change to hybrid working, it was felt that a well-being staff connecting with like-minded individuals to break from working pressure and focus on fun, engagement, and inclusion showing the beauty of music.
In October 2024, Lilly, Limerick launched a new choir. Our debut performance took place at the Christmas lunch, bringing joy to both the choir and the staff.
After a successful collaboration between the Lilly GBS Choir and Lilly Kinsale for a Christmas charity event in 2024, an inspired idea was had to continue the musical magic discovered between the sister sites. Now adding in our new sister site in Limerick, the group has evolved to form the “Lilly Ireland Choir”. Our first goal is to perform at the 2025 Cork International Choral Festival in the IBEC Workplace Choir of the Year Competition.
