Coro di voci maschili Commodoro

sughero

Commodore Male Voice Choir was founded in the early 1960’s by the workers of Verolme Cork Dockyard. When that industry closed, workers from Irish Steel joined up and the choir became known as Cork Harbour Area Choir. Come 1987 the choir was without a home and the late Pat O Shea of the Commodore Hotel took the choir in, hence the name Commodore Male Voice Choir and the generous sponsorship of the Hotel continues to this day.
Our choir is a community choir led by Musical Director/Conductor Maeve Hunter. We embrace all aspects of the Heritage of Cobh and are an integral part the annual commemorations in the town and are always willing and able to lend our support to all. We are a non-competitive choir and we embrace all styles of music. Current membership stands at twenty two. Check us out on Facebook!
