The City of Cork Male Voice Choir was founded in 1968 with a vast history in its 55 years. The choir is renowned for its versality and dedication to performing many genres of music. The choir's musical history includes many competitive successes in local and national competitions. They have performed on stage in the Royal Albert Hall, London with other leading international choirs, along with a performance on RTÉ in recent year. The choir’s talent is not limited to concert work as they also have appeared on stage in opera productions as guests of Kinsale Opera and Opera Cork,  including L'Elisir d'Amore, La Traviata, Madame Butterfly and Carmen. On their 55th celebratory concert in the City Hall, €22,000 was raised for Marymount.
